We all know I love these KRONAN Savoy serves, and I’m back at it today with a stunning drink. I’ll go as far as saying it’s in my top 5 of the entire list, simply because it is such an easy sipper with so much flavour packed in. KRONAN has this unique ability of being able to take centre stage in the stirred cocktails, but also being able to elevate an entire drink from the backseat, which happens here. A crowd pleaser for sure, and goes well with
a touch more Swedish Punsch history.

It wasn’t until 1733 that we first have record of the Swedish East India Company creating a potent ‘Rum Punsch’ using the Batavia Arrack and anything else they could find in Java, which would’ve likely been a way to mask the
harshness of the spirit as they did with their rum supplies… before they ran out.

This same sweetened, rum like punsch, is the basis for what we see in KRONAN today, only KRONAN is much more refined than what the sailors would have been subject to, and has a blend of Jamaican and Guyanan rum
there for good measure!
